What do i say to Ashley

We talked about God.

I told her that my daughter was molested.

It was emotional.

The whole point was that I was angry with God and didn’t talk to Him for a long time.

When I did begin to talk to God, we became friends. Ie I was no longer religious.

I stopped doing things out of condemnation just to please him and was just honest with him about everything.

As a result, I got to know him better. Long-held religious beliefs began to fade and I realized He really does love me.

(Jesus Christ’s sacrifice made our relationship possible. He took my sins and gave me His righteousness.)

Then I started doing religious things because I wanted to, not because He demanded them of me. A changed heart!

My changed heart came from my honest relationship with him. I would read His word and talk to him about it. I asked questions and chose to believe He would answer me. And He did!!!

I also mentioned to Ashley that sometimes it takes a while for prayers to be answered.

When I got home I called a friend.

Out of the blue, he told me. “Oh yea, Woran is dead.”

What did you just say?

I know what he did and he is dead.

What the???

I couldn’t believe he just said that.

The same day I told Ashley what he did to my daughter, and that it sometimes takes time for God to answer prayer. I find out that same day, after a decade of not speaking about him, he’s dead.

Are you kidding me or what?

What are the odds?

Im not saying God killed him, but I’m just saying!!!

“Vengence is mine says the Lord I will repay.”

Do I rejoice at his death?

No, I harbor no ill will towards him. That’s the work of God in my life. He heals the brokenhearted.

I also talked about God being the Judge and the arbitrator of justice.

So what do you make of this???

Coincidence or providence?

I will answer that by asking you a question.

If a temple took 40 years to build, Imagine, how magnificent and huge it must have been, And Jesus said it would be torn down and not one brick would be left standing, And it happens just as he said.

Not one brick out of hundreds of thousands that were used to build the temple was left standing.

But…

The temple wall that surrounded the temple was partially standing. We still see Jews praying there to this day.

Was that coincidence or providence?

You DECIDE!

You get to decide.

One day God will crack the sky and everyone will have the proof they demanded from him.

But today, to keep your free will intact. You get to decide.

What do you think?

By the way, you can ask God for help.

Lord help me believe. Amen

If you dare!!!

how can you believe when you don’t believe he sent his word and healed them and deliver them from all the destruction St John 1:1 in the beginning was the word and the word became flesh and dwelt Among Us the only begotten of the father the sower went forth to sow interpretation the seed is the word the word produces after its kind the seed produces after its kind we are three parts body Soul spirits God speaks to your spirit it enters the soul and then your intellect comprehend if God was the only use signs externally it would strengthen the flesh but the spirit is what he wants in charge so we must learn to follow the spirit they that walk after the flesh shall die but if they through the spirit do mortify the flesh they shall live

what about signs do God give you a sign I remember Jesus saying this generation look for us looks for a sign and none will be given but yet their signs are all around him what does that mean what’s the balance
